Augustus Williams. AKA Gusto. is best defined by his pure Detroit sound. a 20+ year veteran to the scene. Gusto’s ability to DJ, perform live, navigate sequencers, drum machines, and synthesizers has proven on the dance floor and in the studio that he is a true force to be reckoned with. Augustus recently released his, “Increaser” EP on Metroplex Recordings with label founder and Techno Originator, Juan Atkins. As the Artist Relations head for Techno Snob since its inception in 2012, Gusto has been a bridge to the next generation seeking the Techno sound. in 2023, Gusto was selected by the Detroit-Berlin Connection and The Music Board Berlin to a residency in Berlin. His world travels and Detroit roots have cemented him as a globe trotter and a true architect of the genre.
